Heh. I was actually a bit concerned about my husband's reaction -- he is veeeeeery into long hair, and has always been opposed to me having more than an inch cut off. (I always had more than that cut to avoid having my hair grow too damn long, and he enver knew the difference.)
But he surprised me by saying he really liked it. And no, he wouldn't lie. :) His Mom used to be part of the whole pageant thing, had at least one girl go all the way to Miss Oregon, and she dragged Mark around to all of the events and such with her. He has an uncharacteristic (for a guy) knowledge of what looks good, and what doesn't. In fact, he teases me that his fashion sense is better than mine. So, him saying he likes my hair is like the seal of approval -- I will forever be able to keep it this short, now, without fear of listening to him complain.
And funny that you mention Mary Kay. I discovered their products three years ago, and now I don't have the acne problems I was plagued with since I turned twelve. I love it.
