I have review of Spiderman 2 on my hard drive at home, started but not yet finished. I'll be posting it at my blog later today. Because I promised myself I'd post more stuff there. :)

My weekend was fun but hectic. I think the only time we really spent at home was sleeping, until yesterday, a day which I spent doing serious house cleaning. All day. To the point of being sore today. (I should probably specify here that I didn't just vacuum and mop, but also spent time with a scrub brush on my hands and knees, getting up the bits of glue still stuck to our bathroom floor from the time of the house building. Yeah, I know, but it was hard to get that crap up, and I've been too lazy to spend the time doing it until now. Also, we finished unpacking our books and putting them on bookshelves. Not that they're organized or anything. That would take a day in and of itself.)

So while I'm happy with my sparkly clean house, I'm also tired. We spent Friday night "out" for our anniversary, eating delicious prime rib and going to see the aforementioned Spider-man 2. Of course, we didn't know that the brand spanking new amphitheater they've been building in Corvallis was done, so we ate dinner in Corvallis, then drove almost an hour up to Salem to see the movie. Grrr. We could have saved about an hour and a half of driving and gas if we'd known. Still, both dinner and movie were excellent.

Saturday we spent with Mark's parents, visiting the Oregon Gardens (kind of fun and gave us ideas for our yard), and BBQing dinner. Then, Sunday, we drove to our friend's house in Eugene for a day of roleplaying, more BBQing, and fireworks. Was fun.

All in all, an exhausting and fun filled weekend. Hope you all can say the same. :)

On a side note -- Gmail has added an import address feature, so Yay! I have all of my yahoo addresses imported. So far, am liking the Gmail.

And I'm sure there are more. My murky memory could only come up with five in recent years, though.

5. Tarzan -- this show had seriously unexplored potential. Including some really top rate actors and some very nice eye candy. And oh-so-much better writing than the terminally renewed Charmed.

4. La Femme Nikita -- may only rate number four on my current list, but at the time, the cancellation hurt ever so much. I loved this show, loved Michael/Nikita. It was never even close to realistic, but it was so very fun to watch. And pretty. :)

3. Farscape -- probably falls at number three on my list because I have yet to see all of the episodes. It is tragic, tragic that SF was blind and dumb enough to cancell the most successful original series they've ever had. John/Aeryn remains my ultimate 'ship.

2. Firefly -- almost tied for the number one spot. Very close. This is the most wasted potential I've ever seen. This show was fucking brilliant (from Joss, what else do you expect?), and could have, would have passed both Buffy and Angel by as Best Joss Show Ever. It is just too sad for words that Fox never gave it its due chance. After watching the DVDs and the eps that never aired, I think I nearly cried at the cold fact of its cancellation. Only the upcoming movie gives me hope.

1. ...and the number one cancelled show ever is...Angel -- I base this on the final 5-7 episodes that just rocked my world. Every ep was good, better than the last, painfully brilliant as we knew the show was doomed. I swear, I was in an emotional wasteland after that final ep. We got to see glimpses of what Joss had planned to unfold over a fifth season, possibly, and I can't even imagine what he'd have accomplished with those extra episodes. This cancellation still hurts, deeply.
