I am old.

I bought Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights yesterday on the strength of my f-list, as I had not yet seen it. Watched it, was pleasantly surprised. It was close to as good as the first one, I think.

The good news: I have LFN S2, have even watched the first ep Hard Landing, which has the very first Michael and Nikita nakedness. :) You know, together.

Not so good: Why isn't it in widescreen??? Have the other shows I own on DVD spoiled me?

Still, am ecstatic to own S2, one of the very best seasons for the show. Now I really have to shell out the $$ for S1 one of these days. sigh.

I feel compelled to point out that while many of us fans are jubilant to have put our greedy little hands on the hard to get ahold of LFN S2, it might behoove us to send some sort of response to Time Warner indicating our severe disappointment at the recall of the DVDs. Something to indicate to the money men how much they stand to make on it. Not just to support a future official release of S2, but in the possibly vain hope that someday we might yet see S3, 4, and 5 released on DVD.

After all, at one time we didn't think S2 would be possible.

Now, do I have any idea how to go about this? No. But I'm sure someone smarter than me will. :)
