Very interesting article on migraines here. Lots of stuff I didn't know before. I knew that not all migraine suffer-ers had aura symptoms, because I never have, and my Dad never did, but we both definitely suffer(ed) from migraines. But I had no idea that only 20% of people with migraines do have aura symptoms. So the next time someone tries to tell me I don't get migraines because I don't see the aura, I'm going to laugh. :)

Also, it sounds to me like migraines are a lot more common than people think, and that maybe even people who don't experience debilitating pain, but do get chronic headaches, might still be suffering from migraine. (How lucky for them.) Sorry, I find that interesting, but also it makes me a little bitter. Why do my migraines have to be debilitating? Why can't I just suffer from frequent, unexplainable headaches, rather than frequent headaches + occassional knock-me-flat-for-hours excruciating pain?

Ugh.

I watched that new-ish, modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice last night. I can't begin to tell you all the things wrong with this movie. I can see why I don't recall it ever being in theaters. I mean, it isn't the worst romantic comedy of all time or anything. But it is flawed. And yet...is it wrong that I enjoyed the heck out of this movie? I think a familiarity with who all the characters were based on helped a lot. (Not to mention making me laugh out loud several times). some spoilers )
