Last night's RPG didn't totally suck! Of course, it was basically a standard dungeon crawl, but hell, at least stuff was actually happening. That's a vast improvement in this particular campaign. Thank goodness Mark is running next week, in a game where intrigues and story abound.
I thought I'd have tons of time for jewelry stuff last night (as I generally do in this game, while nothing is happening, and trust me, trying to make something happen is a futile and frustrating effort), but as it turns out, not so much this week. I did get a bracelet finished and posted. I'm quite pleased with it, though it's fairly simple. I've also found a color combination that photographs really well against black (finally!):

More pictures and info at my Etsy shop. The stones are sold everywhere as fire agate, which is totally not true. Do a google search. Real fire agate looks nothing like these!
elisem did a whole commentary once on why these aren't fire agate, and how they are probably related to the chalcedony family via carnelian, thus her far more appropriate name for them, 'dragonscale carnelian'. The rondelles are regular carnelian.
