GO AWAY LJ PERMANENT ACCOUNT, BEFORE I GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION!!

I don't need one of these, really I don't. I don't have the money to spend on one right now, I really, really don't.

I could possibly swing it and be broke for like six weeks, but it would painful and difficult and not in the least worth it considering I'd have to use LJ for at least six more years to make it pay for itself. Who can say what they'll be doing six years from now?

Yes, this is me, talking myself out of such a rash and impetuous idea. I will be strong! I will not be tempted!

Hmm...out of curiousity, have any of you purchased one, or have plans to purchase one?


In other news, the postman finally delivered Dr. Who yesterday!! Thanks cretkid!

I had a couple moments panic when media player refused to give me a picture with the sound, but then I d/led the DivX codec and all was well. :) Haven't watched more than the opening sequence yet, due to time constraints, and we're gone all weekend to Seattle starting Thursday, so don't expect any squeeing comments from me til sometime next week. But absolutely so excited!

I have to say, after all the buzz I went and checked out this Perm Account thing and 1) don't quite get the appeal unless you are a MAJOR, MAJOR icon freak, and 2) was pretty shocked at the price tag. So many other things I would rather spend that money on. And I hadn't even done the 'pay for itself' math like you did.

Great news re the Dr Who. I was a bit worried as I was the one who mentioned they were out on Region 2 DVD to you, and therefore encouraged you buying them. I was hoping they would play for you. Am not sure when the second set is out here, but I will let you know.

There are only 2 more episodes left to run on the BBC.
