But what the heck? Why end it there, why??! So Frankie knows all along, or has since figured out that the Mysterious Stranger wasn't his real father, but like the adults in his life, he was willing to entertain the fiction that he was. And then they just end it?? What, Gerard Butler doesn't come back? Lizzie doesn't send Frankie's letter on to him through Marie? Come on, I feel cheated.

I feel the disturbing need to write sappy, tear-wrenching fanfic. *wipes eyes again*
