So. Tired.
Apr. 3rd, 2006 09:34 amSo, on top if daylight savings time - which sucks, btw - Mark is still on Japan time, which means he wakes up at roughly 2:00am every morning wide freaking awake. His tossing and turning and inability to fall back asleep last night kept me awake, and thus I am extremely, horribly, tired this morning. Ugh.
Not enough coffee in the universe.
In better news, Remix authors have been revealed. I knew the writing style of the person who remixed me was familiar!
quiet_rebel, what did you with An Exercise in Control was freaking fantastic. Thank-you so very much. :) If you haven't read it yet, people, you should. Dreamless (There's the Rub Dub) is outstanding.
Also, if you're interested in reading my Remix, it's Seven Humiliations (A Duet for Enemies), which remixes
randomeliza's The Blue from a billion Sarkney fans and half a fandom lifetime ago. You should reread her story first. :) And on a personal note to Eliza herself: I almost tried remixing one of your SGA fics, but your Sarkney stuff is among my favorite pieces from those days of yore, and I just couldn't resist. Plus, while I admire your work and absolutely loved your Good Omens/Sark crossover stuff, slash just isn't my thing, and trying to write it, even in an implied sense, didn't work for me on the ultra-late, tight schedule I was working under. Maybe next year I'll venture into that challenge, if the author I'm assigned is given to writing slashy stuff.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your remix, love. You're still one of my favorite people, and I was absolutely thrilled to be assigned your name. :)

Yeah, I knew that... but I'm really glad I got someone assigned to remix me as good as you! The SGA fics are not all slash, but the ones that aren't are kind of character-centred and awkward to remix, I'd imagine. I'm so glad that you did this one, though, and reminded me of these stories that I'd completely forgotten! Not to mention reminding me how much I loved Alias, back in the day. And how great the Sarkgasm crew were. Awww, those were the days... back when I was young and innocent. Or rather, young and innocent-er. Heh.
*hugs* I love it, as I'm sure you know, and I'm so glad you wrote for me!
