Jumping on the train...
Sep. 7th, 2003 10:16 pmOk, so yes, Rhien is jumping on the LJ train. Why? Hmm. Well, it could have been all the pretty icons. Or maybe the cool friends and comments features. Or the fact that all of my other blog friends seem to have LJ's now. Or maybe all of the above.
But I'm pretty sure it was the icons that did it.
See, I have all of these pretty new pictures of Johnny in his role as an evil CIA agent in Once Upon a Time in Mexico. And he's frelling hot. I mean, HOT. I loved Pirates, loved it enough to be on pins and needles waiting for the DVD. But I'm sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow, as wonderful as he is, lacks a certain something in the "frelling hot and sexy" department. Then I saw my first preview for OUaTiM, and I swear to God, for the first half of the preview, I was squinting at the screen thinking, "Is that some new actor who looks a hell of a lot like Johnny Depp, only he's younger?" And then I was like, "Holy crap! That is Johnny Depp...and he's f****** HOT!" -- and he's bad guy hot, not hero hot.
There's a difference. Sark. Case in point. :)
So, in honor of my re-discovered lust for Johnny Depp and the neat ocins I got to make with the pics I found of him, I'm officially a LiveJournal user. I even had to get a paid account, to use my beautiful icons.
*sigh*
