I know everyone who cares probably knows by now, but ABC officially picked it up, AND just as exciting, have also picked up the related series Agent Carter, to air between the 2 halves of AoS S2 (I think). This will be a show dedicated to the spy adventures of Peggy Carter (which will no doubt make me even more sad that she and Steve never had their chance together.)

I have a lot of things to say about this one. As usual, over half of the pro-recaps I read make me wonder if we are watching the same show.

So, this is something really cool. For each new episode, comic book artwork is released as a limited print. Here is the one for next week's ep:

Feel free to discuss. :)

I have been reduced to arguing with random people in the comments on AoS episode recaps. (Did you all know that Ward is a mass murderer and May isn't?)

I so need real fandom interaction.

Of course, everything was very personal about last night's episode of AoS. Also, bullet points:

I've been to a dark place, people. It's been so long since I've actively been involved in fandom, I forgot what some of the fringes can be like. For example, I really have to stop reading reviews of the last episode, and particularly the comments on said reviews, and their reactions to Ward's character.

Really. Must. Stop.Spoilers for the shows so far under the cut. )
And I know that no one who wrote those many, many comments will ever read this, but I feel better for venting.

This is the show that disappointed me the most back at the beginning of the season. The one I had anticipated the most highly, and the one I ended up dropping after something like 6 or 7 episodes. But a friend of mine ([livejournal.com profile] kistha) kept watching, and eventually she told me it had picked up and gotten quite a bit better. So, over the past few days (and one very sleepless night) I have caught up.

And holy cow! It got a LOT better. I think my absolute love for Captain America: The Winter Soldier may have helped a bit, but I am totally obsessed! I love how they've tied in the series with what happened in the movie, and how we as viewers get a deeper look at...wait, should I be spoiler cutting now? Ok,there may be spoilers for both the movie and show behind this cut. )

Thanks for the warm welcome back, everyone. :) I really am going to make a concerted effort to be here.

So, in that vein, let's talk about television...

some spoilery things may apply...Agents of Shield, NCIS, Alice... )
In other news, having been a Mac user for the past several years has made transitioning back to PC for the office a really annoying process, largely because I am doing some form of tech support for the majority of our older, less tech savvy agents. I miss my Mac. :(
