Whoo-Hoo, and Q on the Apple iPod

So, it's official, Mark was offered his job again today, except this time with a real contract and a pay raise. He still has to sign, but it's pretty much a done deal at this point.

*HUGE sigh of relief*
*followed by much jumping for joy*

So, to celebrate, I think we're getting his and hers iPods. He wants to 30 gig one with the color screen, while I think I'd be perfectly happy with the mini. Costco currently has them for $187, I think. What say you all?

See, his goal is to put all 400+ movie scores he owns on his iPod...yeah, more work than I want to imagine. Plus some good rock n' roll, I'm sure. Me, I think the 1,000 songs the mini supposedly has room for will fullfill my music needs.

Though I am thinking of the 6 gig vs. the 4. But I think the one at Costco is only 4. Hmmm.

Also, has the battery issue been fixed? Or does it still affect new units?
