Mmmm....cooking

How do I know summer is truly over and we're moving into Fall? Is it the weather? Yesterday was sunny and almost 80. Nope, not the weather. The leaves turning? We are surrounded mostly by pine and its sisters. Nope, not the leaves turning.

I put a roast in the crockpot this morning, that's how. A roast and potatoes and onions, slow cooked for eight hours. Yummy. One of the easiest and best Fall/Winter meals!

I did get some good news these past two days - another beta got back to me. She said some things about the book that are still making me smile today, and that's really saying something. :-)

And I asked her some questions, and she responded back with some more things that made me grin, and then I got all emotional and teary eyed, but then I seem to be an emotional basket case tonight.
