I have to write a 1500 word (or less) piece of fiction for a scholarship application. By tomorrow.
All I can think of is telepathic space pirates, which won't get me the scholarship, sadly. Past winners include a story about a girl and her prize winning fair entry, and an odd story that involves someone who believes he's Jesus. I just really doubt space pirates are for the win. I have thought about adapting one of my old drabbles for it - I could do something similar to my Jack-Bristow-at-Christmas drabble, but expanded a bit and with the serial numbers filed off, so to speak.
IDK. 1500 words isn't a lot to work with. I'd love some tossed out ideas, if anyone has a few.
