I have a new prototype ring. This one is a solitaire, with filigree to either side of the stone, and a fancy patterned band. I've set it for a 6mm stone, and my choices for gemstone are:

~ Created sapphire, a very cobalt blue color.
~ Rainbow topaz, which is topaz that has both blue and green in the stone
~ Garnet, which is the center stone I used for the previous prototype ring
~ Peridot, a beautiful "spring" green
~ Iolite, a dark blue-violet
~ Rose Zircon Tanzania - a cinnamon red-brown

Thoughts? I can't seem to decide!

And done!

Set with a 6mm, lab created sapphire, here is my latest ring. I've designed it as a solitaire, so it can be a beautiful fashion ring, or with the vintage inspired filigree and floral band, it would make a beautiful promise or engagement ring. 6mm is approximately a carat in size (actually, just a smidge over), so this is a nice and substantial look, with the lab created stone keeping it at a very affordable price.
