I just bought some beautifully faceted, sparkly lemon quartz, even though I don't wear yellow, pretty much ever.  Because citrine and lemon quartz have inexplicably been pulling at me for weeks. 

  

I also got some lovely, equally sparkly peridot, because green has also been pulling at me lately.  I think it's going to be my color this Fall.



Either way, they'll make some lovely pieces.  I see a necklace with the lemon quartz, with the rondelles spaced between some chain, and two or three of the cushion cut rectangles dangling as a "Y". 

I have no willpower when it comes to this, I really don't.  I see beautiful sparklies and I just want them.  I can console myself with the knowledge that my local bead store carries these for almost triple the price I paid. :D

But you make such beautiful things, and I bet Bl does awesome!

One thing, you can find similar items at a department store or catalog to compare pricing - then you really won't feel bad at all about your pricing issues.

I am, I really am. I was only going to get the quartz - but then I saw the peridot. I barely restrained myself from splurging on peridot rondelles, too, but it would have strained the checkbook too much. *sigh*

That's a good idea. I should do some online searching.
