So, remind me f-list, in the movies did the students at the Institute share dorm rooms? God knows I'm not going to sit through that travesty called X-men 3 again just to remind myself. I just need to know if Rogue had a roommate.

And no, I'm not writing fic. *shuffles feet, looks guilty* Why do you ask?

Ok, so I'm stuck on the nano book, but I need to write. I had this WIP thing I started months ago that was sitting innocently on my thumb drive. I did consider writing soemthing Sarkney very briefly, but then I remmebered what I'd wanted to do with this Rogue story, and the idea sucked me back in. (It's got Carol Danvers and how Rogue gets not only her powers back, but Carol's powers, too, and becomes the Rogue I know and love from the comic, and how she meets Gambit. Well, hopefully.)

Also, any idea how old Rogue is in X-3?

From what I remember of X2 and X3, it seemed like Rogue didn't share a room, but many of the students did. A quick scan of the, um, nightmare scene in the first movie would tell you if Rogue had roommates initially, I think. (I don't know if her single room in X3 was due to her seniority or her specific powers.)

That's what I remember, too, so I'll go with that. The X3 timeline is the most important at the moment. I'm also thinking she's about 18 in X3. (Going off the idea that she was 16 in X1)

Oh man you've reminded me that I need to finish the post-X3 Making Rogue Not Suck and Introducing Gambit OMGOTP fic that I have been writing forever.

I EXCERPTED IT IN MY LJ AND EVERYTHING. And still I have not finished.

What can I say? I am just lame?!

I used to have a few Rogue/Gambit icons in rotation BABY'S FIRST OTP. But I change up my icons reasonably often and I happen not to have any right now.
