You know one of the things that sucks about writing?  When you're in a groove and things are going awesomely well, and then something (like three days worth of dusty filing) interrupts that groove, getting it back is nigh impossible.  It's enough to make me want to weep.  Stupid work.

So I'm not-writing-fic again today.  Maybe if I can find that groove again, the other will come back as well.  Why did this have to happen at the end of the damn book, when every chapter is uber-important?

In the meantime, Rogue.  Ah, well.  I've been wanting to write finish this fic for a long time, so I guess there's the silver lining, eh?

Dude. I totally understand. This happend to me in January when I got stuck at 20,000 words. I realized it was because I got out my groove to work on my grad school applications and to rewrite the first three chapters. After that I couldn't get myself unstuck when I tried to get back to writing new stuff.

I did everything I could to get unstuck. Fanfic, short stories--anything. I ended up with a lot of WIPs in the process.

But, don't worry, you'll get the groove back. I did!

I know! It makes me cry, too. In frustration.

I did check more of those out, and saved several to my HD. :) I'd seen the Trek ones before, but they are all awesome.
