rhienellethI've had a shitty morning. Left my keys in the ignition last night, turned in the "lights on" position, so my car was deader than dead this morning. Had to call around and finally get my Mom to take me into work, where I am now carless. She's going to bring me lunch and pick me up after work. *sigh*
Here's that meme about fandoms/TV shows:
The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it: Buffy/Angel Mostly Angel, with S4, and then having the gall to come back better than ever in S5, only to be over.
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets: Farscape (FS was one of those 'perfect' shows for me - I never wrote fic for it, because I didn't need to, and I came upon it just before The Peacekeeper Wars came out, so it didn't break my heart with that S4 ending - because I knew PW was airing in like, a week.)
The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he really was fucking crazy: Lost
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town: Battlestar Galactica
The steady: Alias - Obviously.
The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with: Heroes (But I'm guessing all that's about the change....)
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't: Ugly Betty - This is the show I can hang out with wearing my jammies and ugly slippers. Excellent friends, no chemistry. :)
The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere: Supernatural I love me the Winchester boys, but haven't quite jumped into the fandom yet.
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him and thinking, "Him? How the hell did he land all these cool babes?": Bones - Don't get me wrong. I enjoy watching Bones quite a bit. But there are times when I look at this show and think "Really? How did you get this far?" Because those first episodes were truly bad. Luckily, it has improved by leaps and bounds, though there is still a certain...'um, okay' factor at times.
The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly: We'll have to see what turns up with the start of the new season. Heh. :)
