My costuming has taken a new direction - regency! Or, for those of you more familiar with the period via the books and/or adaptations thereof, the time of Jane Austen's work.
There is a local little movie theater that sometimes plays older movies for special occasions - like the Masquerade they did last year with the showing of The Phantom of the Opera. Due to connections *buffs nails*, we are going to see if they'll do an Austen day for us, whereby they show two of her movies (we're currently thinking P&P and Emma) with a break in between to go and have tea (yes, real "tea") at the English tea house down the street.
In costume, of course! Which means making Austen-esque gowns.
I am excited. :)
