So, I have this headache...
Apr. 3rd, 2008 11:07 am...and it's really low grade stuff, nothing I'm even aware of until I'm at work, in front of my computer. But me and migraines being what they are, I trooped over to our supply warehouse to pilfer some ibuprofen. Except, apparently we're all out. So I make myself some strong black tea, and buy a little junk food from our vending machine, thinking maybe a little food and caffeine will kick it.
No. Low grade headache is one of the sneaky ones. It didn't feel like a potential migraine an hour ago. But about five seconds after I finished consuming said junk food, my stomach turned to queasy, and low grade pain has now become light sensitivity and pain, on one of the sunniest days I've seen in two weeks.
Ow. And crap. And lots of other swear words. As soon as 11:30 rolls around, I'm on my way to the convenience store down the street for whatever I can find in the ibuprofen-migraine advil/excedrin range.
Also, this makes working on the book (or anything else) really damn hard. Words don't come together when my head feels like this.
