Gmail

So, I've had my gmail account for over a month now, and still I've received no invites to offer people. I'm using it as my e-mail, so it's not like I'm just letting it sit there and molder.

Are others with Gmail accounts still receiving invites from google? I told the husband I'd give him one as soon as I got one (his MSN has been randomly dumping incoming mail into his trash folder -- MSN and yahoo mail don't like each other).

I have not yet received any invites either, rhien. Not sure why, but I think it might be random, and not based on usage. Like maybe they just distribute them whenever the hell they feel like it.

no invites, either. i think angel_grace is correct and they are giving it to random people. i also think they are doing it in stages. i have the feeling our stage of the beta is holding fast and when they start another major stage they'll hand out more invites. unless they are planning to just unleash it soon.

Hi. I'm supposed to be writing your Heroine fic, and it's very late, as you've probably noticed. I'm very sorry for that, RL and writers block have both attacked me recently but I am working on it. I just wanted to ask you something - you said you wanted the fic to take place in either Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade... does the Burrow kind of count? *g* It's non-Hogwarts after all, I wasn't sure if that's what you were after, or if you wanted those places specifically. And... how do you feel about femslash?

I have no cause to complain whatsoever, as my heroine fic piece is also hopelessly late. :) Take your time, honestly.

The Burrow would be fine. I think what I was going for was a story not necessarily set at Hogwarts. :) And while I have many friends who read/write slash of all kinds, it isn't really my cup of tea. :( I'm more of a het gal.

Okay, that's fair enough! :) Just one last thing - do you prefer Ron/Hermione or Harry/Hermione? I don't want to get that wrong, people who ship one tend to really dislike the other!

Ron/Hermione. And thanks for asking! I can read Herry/Hermione, but since I see R/H as canon, I prefer it. :)

I'm glad, because I prefer R/Hr too! Okay, that's all I need to know. I'll get on it now, I've just had a great idea :D
