It's Monday. Fabulous.

Blah. Had some Chinese food yesterday that made me sick. Still feeling fairly crappy.

But I did make some really good headway on editing this weekend. And this morning as I was getting ready for work, I had this momentary panic - "My novel is done - what will I fill the empty hours of my day with??" And then I head slapped myself because I still have more editing to do, and a couple of things I'm reading for other people and giving feedback on.

I don't have to have a novel in progress to be busy. It just feels like I do.

This place is normally, really, really good. No MSG, a great and unique variety of foods with a huge vegetarian menu.

My kung pao chicken literally had a couple millimeters of nothing but a grease pool in the bottom of the plate. Ugh. We're not talking a somewhat greasy sauce, just grease. It was awful.

How many words do you aim to write, per day?

My minimum is two thousand, and on really good days, I go as many as four-five. Once, I did ten thousand words in one long day, but that left me totally fried and needing a lot more revision than usual. I try not to do that. :D

Average is about 2K a day.
