High school student gang raped at/outside of school dance.

I...I have no words.  Bile and rage and other things are too busy clogging my throat.

As many as 20 people were present, some of them just watching this happen, not bothering to try and stop it or call 911.  OMG.

That actually happened a few towns over from where I grew up. I had to hear it from my mom. There are no words about how awful that is. Even worse when you here that a couple people were certain that if SOMEONE (ie, the person who got the text blocks away) hadn't called the cops, the girl would have died.

I was horrified when I heard about this, but sadly, not surprised at all. Personally, from what I've heard of what happened, I think the perpetrators should be charged with attempted murder, and the people who stood by should be charged with something.
