rhienellethSo, yes, Rhien's been missing for a bit. Rhien's life has been hopelessly complicated and full and promises to be so for another few weeks.
Here's the list:
1. School. Self-explanatory.
2. New job. Also self explanatory, probably.
3. House. Which is nearing completion. Yep, should be able to move in at the end of the month. Or maybe the beginning of November, depending on when they pour the concrete for the driveway. See, I'm not hauling heavy furniture up our incrediblly sloped driveway by hand, and the concrete has to set up for a week w/no driving on it once it's poured. But either way, all of this means we should be packing now, and we haven't even started yet. *wince*
4. Duplexes. Mark and I manage his father's rentals for him. When tenants move out, we clean/fix them and get them rented again. And we have two empty units currently, both of which needed to be painted completely inside. Because our renters tend to be the most incredibly selfish, destructive people ever. How the hell do you end up w/food stains on the living room ceiling?? And "no smoking" means no g--d--- smoking inside the units! Anyway, one down, one to go. And I'm slow at painting. :( It's filled every waking minute of my life lately.
5. Um. Hmm. Maybe that's it? School, work, house, rentals...I think that covers it. So if I'm not posting much for a bit, I haven't disappesred, and I do lurk occassionally, but...might not have time for a bit.
In other news, have seen the RotK trailer...why isn't December here yet?? Or at least November, w/the expanded TTT. Anyway, movie looks good. Also, bought the Matrix Reloaded the other day. Haven't watched it yet. See above for why.
