What's this?
Feb. 4th, 2004 08:30 pmWhy, is it an update? From Rhien???
Surely not!
Bet you thought I'd disappeared forever, huh? Alas, no chance of that. I did, however, get a new job, which works 20 hours a week around my school schedule -- which has been kicking my a$$ this term -- and pays $16 an hour!!!!
I cannot tell you how happy that makes me. My part time job will pretty much pay all of our bills except our house payment, which our manging of the rentals pays for. That means Mark's money from subbing will be our grocery/gas/fun stuff money. Since subbing is unreliable -- one month he gets three days, the next month he might get fifteen -- this is ideal for us.
Oh, and a friend of mine got some really good digital photos of our puppy, Zoey, that she's going to give me so I will finally be able to post those.
Oh, and even though I haven't been around to comment, I have LOVED Alias of late. Angel has also been surprisingly good, and as I type this now I am waiting for the 100th episode with *SOB* Cordy in it! If only CC would come back for good, I might have real interest in the show again. *sigh*
And on the fanfic front, while bored at work -- have I mentioned that my high paying pt job is boring in the extreme? - I did officially begin the sequel to 'Exercise in Control', and I have started *gasp of shock* a NON-Alias fic! It is Battlestar Galactica 2003 (or is it 2004 now?) fic, since SCIFI has wisely, if still unofficially, greenlighted the series for this next year, and I have a new Sf show to be excited about.
Anyone out there interested in beta-ing for it? Anyone else excited about the show going to series?
