And no, I hate to disappoint, but it is not the sequel to EIC, even though I am in fact working on that, too. No, this is my first posting to FF.net since they went non-NC-17, removed all my fic from their site, and killed any desire I had to post more with them.

And I understood the decision to go that route, truly I did. But something in that whole scenario just turned me off of FF.net for awhile. Not sure why. Deep emotional issues, maybe. *shrugs*

In any case, I have posted the first three chapters of a new WIP Battlestar Galactica fic with them. From the new miniseries, now a series, of course. Mostly Kara/Lee with other characters making appearances, much along the lines of my usual pattern. And yes, I'm sure it will eventually be NC-17, though at the moment it's only R for violence and language. And when the rating does get boosted, that "chapter" will be linked elsewhere to satisfy the folks at FF.net.

And on to other things. Star Wars DVDs (Ep's 4-6) out September 21st. Word came down from Lucasfilm yesterday, for those that don't know.

And Comcast is making an unsolicited bid to buy out Disney, which Disney has thus far refused. I hope it continues to fail. I have very little faith that the people who run Comcast will keep my theme parks and animated films and Disney stuff the way I cherish it to be. Now, I am a complete ignorant on all the actual business pros and cons of this whole idea, but my inner child absolutely rebels at the idea of Disney being owned by anyone as mercenary as my cable company. You know? Gives me chills.
