Drabble - yeah, right! 

Fine, I give up.  All of you who read the first drabble, only to ask "But where's the sex??"  Well, here it is!  You all made me feel guilty for teasing you, you smut hounds!

So, yeah, this one's NC-17.  And not really a drabble, since it's almost 2500 words.  And un-beta'd since technically it's just a drabble!).  I proofread it, obviously, but sometimes I miss things.  hopefully nothing too bad. 

See, this time it's only 500 words, or a little over.  Drabbles aren't so tough!

This year's Remix Archive is up, and may I just say I am absolutely amazed that musesfool manages to do this thing every year. I think there's something like 300 stories...wow. I plan an spending a very, very happy evening wanderiing through the stories and reading original/remix pairs of stories I've never read before.

I've already scrolled through to find the various remixes of those I have read before, of course. :D They'll be first on my to-be-read list tonight.

I'd like to take the opportunity to say hat's off to the absolutely brilliant and thus far anonymous person who remixed An Exercise in Control. Dreamless (There's the Rub Dub) is fantastic. Go. Read. I could go on and on about the things I loved about it - the writer added his/her (I suspect her) own delightful spin to the story that brought a whole new imagery that bled through all the various levels of emotion, angst, subtext, etc. I adored it, and I can't wait to find out who wrote it. The style seems very familiar. Hmm. *ponders f-list*

Anyway, this was a ton of fun. When things go non-anonymous at whatever point in the future, I'll happily link mine here. In the meantime, it will be fun to see if anyone guesses/recognizes me. I have definite plans of participating again next year ( and be on time!), which means I really need to write a few more fics between now and then.

From the fic that is currently consuming me. It's Charmed, as I've said, set in the alternate future Chris originally comes back in time from. Spoilers for Chris-Crossed. Rating for this section, anyway, is about comparable to the show itself.

I have no idea how long this thing is going to get. I'm debating posting "chapters", which I am usually loathe to do and have only done for one other fic, ever, or designing it as a series, similar to my Alias work. Because it sure as heck isn't going to fit in a one-shot >10K word story.

Author's note: *The title I've given Wyatt, the "Witch King" is in no way a reference to LOTR. It was just appropriate, given his position in this AU, and what he is.*

quiet_rebel gave me this picture as a prompt which I could use as either a setting, or a mood or a feeling. I chose mood or feeling, and for some reason the picture, which is beautiful, had a very dark, somber feel to it for me. Hence a rather dark and somber Sark. Though maybe "disturbing" is a better word.

I should warn the faint of heart -- this is a dark drabble fic. If you're easily squeamish you may not want to read. And, er...sorry?

I'm stumped. I dislike the term 'writer's block', and it isn't like I'm totally blocked, anyway. I know where I want to go next, I just have no idea how to get there. *sigh*

At least, not without turning a short little ficlet into something much longer than I have time to currently deal with. *drums fingers on desk* Hmm. *stares at blinking cursor in open word doc*

This is highly irritating. Really. I guess I'll just...write, and see where the fic takes me.

I will also be archiving this at Skyhawke when their server probs clear up, but for now I wanted to post these in some form or fashion, so that when I post Chapter 13, anyone new who wanders by won't be confused. I wrote these first twelve chapters roughly three years ago, about the same time as the first Illusions fic.
