First, non-spoilery impression:
WOW. I am not a slash writer, but I HAVE NEVER SEEN A SHOW MORE SET UP FOR SLASH WRITING THAN THIS. Dude, it's practically canon in the promo for next week alone. I'm assuming somewhere G/Sam is already being written.
Other than that, I adore Hetty already, and I see a lot of potential in the show. It has a different feel from NCIS, enough so that it was a little odd to see Director Vance make an appearance. I admit, I am a little disappointed in the girl-lightness. I think part of the problem is Abby and Ziva both have such strong personalities, while I have very little sense of Kensi so far. The show seemed to be all about G and Sam, which, okay, LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell are the 'name' actors, and hey, they are not hard on the eyes. But the team dynamic is what sells NCIS, and it's going to have to gel here to sell this spin off.
