Somehow in the intervening time since I last wrote Andromeda fic, the site I used to go to which contained every technical detail for the show has vanished. And I can't remember, and don't own the DVDs to look up, what weapon Beka refers? Or should I say what sidearm she carries? I've looked, and I can't seem to find it referenced anywhere.

You all are my last, best, and only hope. Please tell me that someone, somewhere, even a third-cousin-removed to my f-list has access to this obscure information?

Anyone?

Andromeda fic? Pretty please with sugar on top

Oh my goodness rhien, if you were to write Andromeda fic again I would weep with joy. Ficage seems to have dried up with the show ending.

I remember a delicious scene from the otherwise abominably bad episode Be All My Sins Remembered with Beka and Tyr wrestling on the floor and Beka outmaneuvering Tyr and getting on top and outright telling our own perfect nietzschean that she prefers to shoot her enemies from behind a great big rock. (Yes, I admit to having watched this scene over and over. Sorry, once a fangirl...) There were plenty of scenes in the early series with her pointing her gun at various people. I can't remember if her the sidearm was called anything in particular. It wasn't a forcelance like Hercules' (oh I mean Dylan's) or a BFG as Tyr's. Sorry, that's all I know at the top of my head.

So, are you? Please?

I am indeed. Actually, it's a continuation of a fic I wrote back during S2-3 of the show, before they destroyed Tyr's character. I'll find the link and send it to you, so you can read previous chapters. I never finished it, and it was brought to my attention again recently, and unfinished fic bothers me. So...I'm finishing it. hopefully. At least I have a new chpater written for it, the first in at least three years, maybe more.

Wow, I love getting good news.

That would be so nice, thanking you in advance. And it's good that unfinished fic bothers you. ;) I only wish that were the case for more writers...

Also, I've been meaning to ask you this earlier but you seem a Dr Who fan. I remember watching this series way back when, but is this a new series or a remake? Not that I need a new fandom...

I still haven't seen Mr. and Mrs. Smith, you liked it I gather from your new background. Is it good enough to see on the big screen or should I wait until the DVD and rent it?

It's a new series, a continuation of the old series, and it is so good. There's an awesome community called [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho_eps which exists for people to help other people d/l the eps through yousendit! -- I totally recommend this as a new fandom. ;)

And I recommend seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the theater. It's good. :)

Ok, here's the link to Chapter 1, which is then linked to chapter 2 and so on up to 12. The fic is titled "All the Stars Asunder".

You know, that last person reminding you was probably me back when I first introduced myself in your journal a couple of weeks ago.;) I loved All the stars asunder and cant wait to read more. The title sounds familiar, is it taken from somewhere?
