A huge thank-you
Aug. 19th, 2005 11:20 amTo everyone who commented on my iPod questions yesterday, and/or answered the poll. Thanks so very much. You answered most of the questions I had, and some I didn't know to ask.
It looks like 20GB w/5,000 songs will suit Mark just fine. He may not get every single score he owns on there, but come on, with over 400, there are some he never listens to because they just aren't as good as others. He probably only has about 50 super favorites that he'd want to have with him always, and maybe 50 more semi-favorites that he occassionally misses. If we could find the 30GB model somewhere, he'd probably go for that, but $400 for the 60GB one is just a little too rich for our blood. Circuit city currently has the 20GB color on sale for $284.
Me? I'm pretty sure I'm sticking with the 6GB mini ($239 at CC), although it is tempting at this point to get the 20GB version for $45 more...except it's not as small and cute, and I can't wear it on a wrist band when I exercise...I think. I imagine I'll give them a closer look when we go in to buy them this afternoon.
Yikes. I have this aversion for spending such large sums of money at once. It's very difficult for me. But do I want Mark to have his iPod to play w/and me not have mine? Not on your life. :)
