No matter how hard I try to cut the ties, Tivo is evil and records it anyway!
Prison Break - which turned out to be cool, even though I was a little concerned. It isn't my first time watching it, see. I watched bits of the first ep, and last week I tried to watch, but actually ended up turning the channel because I couldn't stand some of the violence...and I normally don't have a problem with violence. I think it was more the threat of what they were going to do to the guard that got to me. But this week's was cool, and I'm happy Tivo recorded it. I'd set up a season pass, but apparently the three week hiatus of the series has taken it off the listings temporarily. Sarah Wayne Callies is in this show?? Yay! Maybe this series will last for her. So, weekly watchers, tell me there isn't something between her and Michael. Because if there isn't, there should be. They have some serious chemistry. (Of course, who wouldn't with him?) I thought I'd be all into the hotness of Dominic Purcell, but it turns out I'm waaaaaay more into Wentworth Miller in this. He's got this whole focused serious demeanor thing working for him.
I had strange dreams about La Femme Nikita last night. I haven't even watched the show in some time.

Date: 2005-10-04 05:49 pm (UTC)I think I must be really inured to violence because I thought the violence was pretty tame for a show set in prison. But then, I've seen a bit of Oz and I'm only going based on that, this one episode of PB, and having visited a federal pen several times, in a legal capacity, to meet with clients--it's a scary, scary place (and quite shocking, too, in terms of how old the inmate population skews. I saw many old men there that looked like anyone's white-haired grandfather).
