I just purchased these from amazon, at $20 cheaper than Sony's site offers them for. I already have a pair of headphones like them (ear bud silicon, extremely comfortable), that Mark bought me 2-3 years ago in Japan (before they were readily available here in the states). They are wonderful, but the cord is not quite long enough to comfortably clip my iPod to my belt. And they're black, where these are white and will thus match my iPod so much better. :)

Well, I'm excited, anyway. :)

heh. new headphones are always fun. for a couple of years i have had these, which i found on ubersale for $200. obviously only something you get when you are anal enough about sound to want to put out the money. but omg, the difference is incredible.

I've seen those! I've thought about getting a pair for my husband's B-day or something, as he is much more anal about sound. When we move, the Bose surround system is the first thing he sets up and adjusts. He likes to pull me into the room, sit me down, and make these minute adjustments, asking "Hear that? Do you like this better or that better?" I'm like "They sound exactly the same to me, you freak!" Heh. After which he calls me a cretin and adjusts it to however he likes.

anyway, yeah. as long as you can stand to have something in your ear, they are amazing. the sound is gorgeous and they isolate you from the outer din.

Those are so comfortable! I got some of those from Apple because my brother broke the headphones that came with the IPod, so I had called in to get them replaced. Only issue with that was that one of the buds don't work and now I have to get THOSE replaced. Grrrrrr.
