Nov. 8th, 2003 12:08 amThey have made a travesty, a silly, modern day rendition of the most loved and adored Jane Austen book come to life on screen ever -- Pride and Prejudice. Go here to view the trailer.
It's....it's...well, it isn't Colin Firth playing Darcy, that's for darn sure. It isn't even a witty rendition such as Bridget Jones Diary. Noooooo, it's wacky contemporary bastardization....that I will no doubt see in theaters, anyway.
Because it does look cute.
In a way totally unrelated to the best film version ever which will still hold the most sacred of places in my DVD collection.
