(no subject)

So our puppy has an ear infection. Last night she had a really high fever and kept shaking her head, and she wouldn't let us hold her down to take a good look at her ear, but the inner flap is all inflamed and red. So this morning I'm trying to get her into the vet. Here's hoping that won't be too astronomically expensive.

Johnny Depp won! Johnny Depp won! Hee. :) I only wish he'd been there in person to collect his award. That, and the Lord of the Rings win made the SAG awards for me. LOTR better win the Best Pic/Director awards Oscar night. It just damn well better. It's the reason I'll even be watching the Oscars. (Well, plus there's always at least one completely gorgeous actress wearing the worst nightmare of a gown, that makes your mouth drop open in horror as you wonder whether she picked it out herself.)

Watched Moulin Rouge again this weekend, cried, decided that Nicole Kidman is one of my very favorite actresses, even if Cold Mountain did suck. Not the acting, mind. All the actors did great, but ( cut for spoilers )

But none of that detracts from my love of Nicole Kidman as an actress. She is awesome.
