(no subject)

So yes, today is 'moving day', and yet, at the last possible moment, I have completely sidestepped helping my friends move. And I had nothing personally to do with it. Well, directly.

See, Mark is leaving for the weekend. We -- my friends that are moving, and those of us helping them move -- have plans to get together tonight and watch movies or something. Our six month old puppy cannot be trusted wandering the house while I am gone, as she still has accidents from time to time, which means she has to be kenneled when Mark and I are both gone.

There is no way she can be in her kennel all day, all evening, and who knows how late into the night. Even if I came home to let her out for an hour, putting her back in for an extended time would not be acceptable.

I asked my mother-in-law if she could watch her, but she's gone all day and evening as well. So, it seems I have been voted by all of my friends to stay home with the dog during the day, and then when they're all done moving, I'll kennel her and go and cook dinner for all of my exhausted friends. :) See, works for everyone.

I figured out how to make mini movie icons, as you can see from my brand spankin new Ever After icon. Which I'm not sure I'm satisfied with. Sure, it was an experiment, but still. The colors look a little bright or something. I don't know. what do you all think? Any icon makers out there with suggestions?
