Nora Roberts is an Anne McCaffrey fan! She specifically mentioned Pern!

I've told y'all, haven't I, that Pern was my very first ever fantasy book experience? (I think my Mom was reading LOTR to us at the same time, but I read Pern on my own.) That from the word "dragon" I was hooked? And that I've wanted my very own dragon and firelizard ever since? In fact, I would have to credit the whole Anne McCaffrey Pern thing with making me want to write.

Sorry, I'm just having a fangirly moment. I love Nora. She's taught me a lot about writing. And continues to do so. And she likes the same authors/books that I do!

OT: I am more and more convinced that Johnny Depp would make a perfect Roarke.

1. He does sexy like no one else. Dude, he made Jack Sparrow sexy. And that shouldn't have been possible.
2. He can take on any character acting-wise.
3. I can totally hear his voice saying "Darling Eve" without it sounding in the least ridiculous.
4. Pictures like this one. The hair's not long enough, the eyes are the wrong color, but I can fill in the blanks, ok?
