-- "H" is actually happy with what I did yesterday. Surprised because I did a more thorough job than he expected. *rolls eyes* Not like scoping out things on the company home page is difficult. Surfing online material is kind of like one of the things I'm good at. No idea why. ;)

-- Yeah, so Best Buy, the bastards, were out of LFN S1. (And S2, incidentally. Not sure if they sold them all or ended up pulling them off the shelf.) So I ended up acquiring Buffy S1 & 2. Finished watching S1, now watching S2. Must soon acquire more. I'm guessing I'm going to end up getting LFN online somewhere.

-- I'm in this mood where I need to write fic today, but can't. Unless the bosses stay away for the big audit meeting going on all week. They didn't yesterday, though, so...probably they won't today either.

-- Congratulations to all of those who won at the FOF! And a big thank-you to all of the judges who gave so much of their time to the festival.

-- I've been feeling this restless need lately to get to Disneyland again sometime soon. Not that it's even possible. I'm thinking...maybe next year. For our anniversary or something.

-- I'm currently reading Book 6 of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It is, so far, as good as the last book. Which was exellent. The first few in the series kind of limped along, but he's gotten progressively much better. :)

-- Still have heard nothing back on Mark's job. I'm just calling it his. Cause they're going to hire him. I know it.

I am in a baking mood. I have been fr a few days, now, but the husband isn't into sweets much. He'll eat cookies, and...cookies. That's about it for baked goods. And I want to make cake. Chocolate cake with some really yummy filling. I'm hanging with the girlfriends this weekend, and I've never known them to turn down chocolate cake.

Does anyone have a good but easy recipe for someone who's made exactly one cake from scratch in her whole life? (I am willing to try new things, however. I'm pretty brave in the kitchen.)
