Rainbow Drive Update

First, here's a nice group shot of some of the pendants I've been making to fill orders:



Second, we've reached $170 on the Rainbow Drive! Whoo-Hoo! Very exciting. :D

Third, some of these will be going out in the mail today. Anything currently ordered will be going out in the mail no later than Monday. Anything received after this post goes up will likely get made this next week, to go out sometime after that.

Fourth, I plan to close the drive down soon-ish. I'm undecided whether it will be Sunday night or Monday. But if you've been on the fence, now would be a good time to get your order in.

I can haz dragon eggs!

For the first time EVER, I went to the Dragon Cave, and there were eggs! But the second it took me to log in, all three were taken. :( But then two had been abandoned, so I snagged one, went back, and the other was gone!

In any case, I have a dragon egg. To hatch, it needs unique views or clicks:



Hee! Blue is my favorite color.

ETA: I should add that the egg will actually die if it doesn't get enough views/clicks. And I believe the hatchling is also at risk until it gets enough clicks to grow large enough to "survive on his/her own", but this is my first dragon egg, so I'm not 100% sure. :)

ETA2: Okay, so I got another one. Weeks of never getting any dragon eggs, and now two in one day. But this is it. I'm only having the two, not going to try for any others until these are safe. See, now the blue one won't be lonely, because he/she is being kept company by my second favorite color, purple! And this one I got at the Cave Entrance. It wasn't abandoned. :D

Okay, fine. Just one more egg, and only because it was abandoned and going to die if it doesn't hatch in 2.98 days.



I have got to stop refreshing the dragon cave. I am too much OCD of a softy.

For those of you with Dragon Eggs...

Some facty things:

It's good to collect all those views and clicks. Just be aware your egg isn't eligible to hatch until 3.5 days into its seven day incubation period countdown to death. When you adopt abandoned eggs instead of finding them in the cave entrance, an extra day gets added to whatever the countdown reads to make it easier for you to save the poor little abandoned hatchling.
