I have no idea what kind of egg this is, but it has less than a day to live if I can't get it to hatch!

ETA: Dude, it hatched, and now suddenly it's gone!  Disappeared from my scroll as though it never was. :(

Some facty things:

It's good to collect all those views and clicks. Just be aware your egg isn't eligible to hatch until 3.5 days into its seven day incubation period countdown to death. When you adopt abandoned eggs instead of finding them in the cave entrance, an extra day gets added to whatever the countdown reads to make it easier for you to save the poor little abandoned hatchling.

I highly recommend registering for the Dragon Cave forum, just to read the FAQ. It answers many questions. :D

For the first time EVER, I went to the Dragon Cave, and there were eggs! But the second it took me to log in, all three were taken. :( But then two had been abandoned, so I snagged one, went back, and the other was gone!

In any case, I have a dragon egg. To hatch, it needs unique views or clicks:

ETA: I should add that the egg will actually die if it doesn't get enough views/clicks. And I believe the hatchling is also at risk until it gets enough clicks to grow large enough to "survive on his/her own", but this is my first dragon egg, so I'm not 100% sure. :)

ETA2: Okay, so I got another one. Weeks of never getting any dragon eggs, and now two in one day. But this is it. I'm only having the two, not going to try for any others until these are safe. See, now the blue one won't be lonely, because he/she is being kept company by my second favorite color, purple! And this one I got at the Cave Entrance. It wasn't abandoned. :D
