Everything looks brighter in the morning

Today is a better day, or at the very least has the illusion of one. I am eating quiche for breakfast along with my sugar free vanilla iced latte, and I must say, I may just start eating quiche for breakfast every day. Or every work day.
Or maybe not. Maybe I'm just tired of cereal, and that's why it tastes so very good.
Not that you all cared about the specifics of my breakfast choices. :)

Oh. My gosh.
Did John just get all irate and pissed off on behalf of Elizabeth? And then try to cover it - completely unsuccessfully, I might add - with some lame "Well, and questioning my following of your orders..." kind of statement? YES! HE TOTALLY DID!
"John Sheppard, are you defending my honor?"
YES. HE TOTALLY IS! AND THAT WAS TOTALLY FLIRTING, ELIZABETH! :)
What else happened in this episode? Um, yeah, I'm not entirely sure. The John/Elizabeth just sort of overwhelmed everything else in my brain. Oh, that's right. When Teyla stops the hive ship and John and Rodney are talking in the foreground, Ronon steps forward and leans in close to make sure Teyla is really ok, even though John had just asked her and she said she was fine. That was cool, too. Because it was just this little, one second background thing, and you could totally hear their conversation in your head by reading their body language.
Oh, and there were deep moral issues and betrayals and death and all kinds of other stuff that really was good, but I'm too tired this morning to comment on all of them, even though I love Carson as much as ever and really felt for him when Michael was raiding his brain. I have highly, highly enjoyed these first two episodes of S3. Like a lot of shows, SGA seems to really be hitting it's stride in it's third season.

I went to Jo-Ann's yesterday and got a big yarn tote thing on wheels to store and organize all my stuff. They had a beading tote, but it was $100. The yarn one was marked down from $59 to $29, and works just fine. The stuff for Mark's rosary finally came (except the chain bits for in between the Our Father's), so I started wrapping beads last night. It was very cathartic and helped me put aside the issues that had me tense and unhappy all day yesterday. Yay for beading. :) I'm using argentium silver, which is a new kind of silver that doesn't tarnish like regular sterling because they use diff stuff with the copper in it. It's slightly more expensive than regular silver, and those first couple of beads had me on edge trying to be perfect and use exactly the right amount for least scrap - not like I need another reason to be too much of a perfectionist. After about the third bead, though, I relaxed and just did my thing. I can always buy more argentium.
Also, thanks
kistha, for your tip about the diff sized Our Father beads. I'm doing that, and I think Mark will really like it.
Also, thanks
