Recently completed jewelry items:

~ a bracelet and earring set w/maille, crystals, and a vintage clasp

~ a necklace w/maille, lampwork & crystals
(a matching bracelet and earrings are also on the docket, but not yet complete)

~ [personal profile] the_monkey_king's commissioned bracelet, minus the clasp which I'm waiting on the postman for.  Working with 16g was quite different from 18g, I have to say.  The rings are stiffer, harder to work, but the end result is very worth the effort.  It's gorgeous.  I made Mark try it on so I could see it on a male wrist, much to his chagrin (he once told me the only jewelry he will ever wear is his wedding ring - and he really really meant it.  It's kind of funny, how much I love jewelry, and how 'blah' he is about it.)  Once I attach the clasp, it'll go into the tumbler for a final clean/polish, and then it's off to its intended recipient.  Oh, and I have to take pictures, if I can figure a way to make them come out right.

~ a pendant like the byz one I made - different color combo.

Still to be made:

~ at least three more bracelets of different weaves.

~ I'd like a dozen earrings or so done before Byzantium Lotus goes live.

~ a couple more pendants

~ at least one other necklace.

We'll see how far into my wishlist I get.  All of those things take a lot of rings to make, and rings = $$.  $$ I don't know for sure I'll be making back, so it's a gamble.  But I have to have items to actually offer for sale if I'm going to have a business, right?  I'm sure this is the type of thing all craftspeople go through when they sell their work.

It's been hard, not posting pics of the stuff I've done, and not talking about it here.  I love making jewelry, ergo I love talking about it.  But I think it'll be better all around if no one sees any pics until they go up on the new journal.

One thing I would like to know - is there anything is particular any of you would like to see?  As in, anything you'd like me to offer differently from what I've got listed above?  Less or more of one thing or another? Maille, non-maille, maille w/beads and/or crystals, plain maille (the byz bracelet I made would be one example of that.)

All I can say is, I think if I'm ever on the west coast I am going to come visit you and demand a lesson in wire wrapping and chainmaille ;) (Ssshh, don't tell my knitting...)
Those are two things I never mastere when i was actively beading and I am drooling over the things you are producing.

Anyway. *cough* Back to work... ;)
