Henckels Chef's Knife? Really sharp. Yeah, I just tried to cut my finger off. I almost succeeded. Usually I react pretty calmly to this stuff, like the time I accidentally shaved off most of my fingernail with a potato peeler (Yeah, those are really sharp, too. Who knew?)

Well, this time it bled enough that I think I've now seen more of my own blood than is a good thing. I actually felt light headed. I didn't think the sight of blood could do that to me.

Ok, all cleaned up and bandaided. Back to cutting onion. Carefully.

Pampered Chef carries this really cool thing where you cover the onion and pound the hell out of it... the blades are well away from tender fingers. It chops pretty finely, but that's good for my family. I don't do blood.

Now, if only I could keep myself from getting burned :P~
