Hmm, so, synopsis formatting - single space? Double space? Times New Roman, or Courier like the manuscript? I've found conflicting information on the internet, and confess I've never actually sent a synopsis before. It's always been either query, or full manuscript. Writer people on my f-list, what do you do? Also, is there a standard length (one page, two pages, five...) when one is not specified by the person requesting?

single space - generally the 2-5 page sized one is the one to send when no info is given

Times is fine as a font - keep your margins at 1" and think of it like you are pitching - if possible, then give your synopsis to a writer you trust to crunch on - this last step usually helps the very most of all.

Agreed. And good luck with the partial request!

Two pages, single spaced, either TNR or Courier should do. You can email me if you want me to read it over but I'm gone from 1-5:30 today. writersweekend at hotmail dot com
