And, because I couldn't resist....
Oct. 30th, 2007 08:35 amThe majority of you think that a) silver is the quinessential werewolf kryptonite, and b) The Change should be different for everyone, coming on at any age. Thanks!
And now, because I just couldn't help myself:
1. That first time with Sydney, in Rome, he missed his flight because he chose to stay with her all night.
2. He lied to Irina about why he missed that flight. In fact, he never even told Irina that Sydney was there.
3. In Dreams, Sark is the one who suggests setting up Sydney to meet with Mariknikauff (and Irina, though she refuses to show). He tells himself he does it for her, so she can have the opportunity to face Vaughn's true killer as she'd wanted to in Illusions. But that's not it at all - he really does it for himself, selfishly, to get Sydney back in the same country, the same city, so he can see her.
4. Sark knows he's completely sunk by Fantasies, when he can't make himself stay away from Sydney no matter how dangerous it is. When he risks blowing his cover just to go to LA. Although Sydney has the "L" realization at the end of the fic, Sark actually had it first, before his plane ever touched down.
5. Despite everything, Sark genuinely admires Irina, even likes her. Almost as much as he fears her.
6. Despite what Jack might wonder about in Shadows, Sark and Irina were never lovers.
7. Sark has loved before Sydney, a fellow agent who did deep cover work with him. But for her, the cover became all too real. She betrayed him, their government, everything. Sark killed her. He still thinks of her as the worst mistake he ever made.
