~ Eggnog lattes from Starbucks are pretty damn good. Of course, I could make better myself at home, but I'm on this sorta strict "only allowed coffee once or so a week" thing from my accupuncturist, until I've either conceived and given birth, or all hope of doing so is gone. Tea has become my friend, though it is getting boring. Perhaps there are enthusiasts who could rec me something? I do not like berry/citrus flavors.

~ *sniff* The no coffee thing REALLY drives home to me just how good that eggnog latte tasted. I drank every last drop. Bye-bye until next Friday, oh my love!

~ Last night the accupuncturist commented that I had a "hard pulse" again, which means the herbs and no coffee thing are working to make me healthier. I guess. this whole eastern medicine thing is awfully mysterious, but hey. I'm willing to do anything at this point.

~ I've also learned through a painful self administered test (I HATE needles even when you can't see them) that my blood type is apparently A+. Though there was a weird delay in which the test initially told me I was A-. Either way, type A means that, apparently, a vegetarian diet is best suited for me. HAHAHA! I am a farm girl. I grew up raising cows and riding/showing horses and stuff. We ate steak all year round, from steers we'd raised and had butchered to fill our freezer. And summer sausage and chicken and even rabbit, as well. Now I am supposed to be consigning myself to fish. Riiiiight. Also, apparently pistachios are bad for me. As are tomatoes. DUDE! I am not taking all tomatoe out of my diet. So, supposedly if I follow this pretty strictly, excess weight will drop off and I will feel all healthy and crap. I'm not sure it's worth it.

~ My headache is gone. Yes!

~ I am wasting time spamming my LJ instead of writing. Woe. Someone kick me.

*kick* (-:

i'm one to kick - i haven't even put pen to paper on my nano. i've been thinking about the next story, but apparently, the NaNo computers don't count that. (my first nano, in 2002, which resulted in The Pelgorian Egg, was probably a fluke. i started on the 10th (having heard about NaNo on the 9th) and finished on the 24th. my brain is obviously thinking "oh, we can do that again. my brain is wrong.)

I don't know what to think about the whole blood type thing. It's a fairly compelling rationalization, I dig evolutionary biology as much as the next girl (okay, more than), but I don't know. Particularly given how different the meat in particular that we eat now is to the meat being eaten back when type O, for instance, theoretically developed. Also, far as I can tell, I'm doing just fine on being an O and a vegetarian, thanks. :)

Tea rec: I'm not usually big on either tea or coffee that has other things blended in, but my mother gave me a gift of this once upon a time and I've been drinking it ever since. It's really delicious plain, or sweetened, or with steamed milk, and it even ices well.
