I wrote about 800 words on pirates this afternoon. Then I went and perused agentquery.com for some more agents to query with Dark Vision, and sent off three new ones.
In the meantime, comments from lovely people made me feel about 1000 times better, and the husband called and wished me a happy day and was basically cheerful enough for both of us, also lifting my spirits.
Thusly the mood of my last post re: self pity, party of one, is obliterated, or at least made much, much better. Tax Lady has not yet called, but I'm mostly okay with that. I know from our convo earlier today that we will be owing something to Federal, and getting back some from State, so all I'm missing are the specifics, which I can live with. Also, I am almost off work. I get to go home and watch last night's NCIS, and tonight has new Criminal Minds, CSI: NY and America's Next Top Model (my one reality show addiction). With any luck, the husband will follow his tradition of bringing me home flowers, and all will be good. :D
