Nobody cares but me, but sometimes General Hospital has characters say absolute gems. Like today. Diane/Jason/Carly talking about Sonny's wedding. Highly amusing dialog behind the cut, even if you've never seen the show, I think.



Conversation from today's General Hospital, RE: Sonny's wedding to the Most Boring Character in the universe, Kate, his apparent childhood sweetheart and director of a leading fashion magazine. Carly, Sonny's ex-wife twice over (or is it three times now?) is planning to attend, and she has managed to convince Jason as her friend and Sonny's, to escort her (he's hoping to keep things under control for everyone this way.)

Diane, Jason's lawyer, Sonny's former lawyer, and intimately familiar with all parties involved, has recently discovered Carly's plan to attend:

Diane to Jason: "You cannot do this. This is worse than wrong, this is cruel."

Jason: "What is?"

Diane: "Escorting Sonny's ex-wife, especially this ex-wife, to his wedding."

Carly: "Ah, we're not crashing. I was invited."

Diane: "Proof positive that the wedding planner was either incompetent, or delusional."

Jason: "Okay, Diane--"

Diane: "Jason, let us be realistic. Sonny and Carly are like gasoline and dynamite. You put the two of them in close proximity, and there is bound to be an explosion."

Carly: "It's not my fault I'm more exciting than the bride."

Diane: "And I rest my case."

ah i remember college when i would religiously watch or tape GH every day in order to watch carly/sonny prior to even their first wedding... those were the days! :o)
