Which I'm not mentioning specifically, don't fear f-list. Just, if you know it, and you know me at all, then you know why I'm saying "Fine, Heroes. You weren't impressing me a lot this season anyway, so now I can finally be done with you."

Taking it off the season pass tonight, and now there's not even any reason to finish the last fifteen minutes I didn't get to see of last night's ep.

I take it you just saw the same one I did.

Blergh

Add that to the failure to develop their plotlines this season and I am loosing all love for the show.

Yeah. I was pretty much done with the show after last season, anyway, so really, they're just removing my last reason to watch.

I am sad about the character, though. When will he next get the opportunity to play another role like it? Of course, given the history you never know...(trying to stay non-spoilery here, and probably failing.)

I know...Weeps

OTOH the actor concerned has got the lead in a miniseries, which is perhaps the reasons they are not in the rest of the season

What miniseries? *goes to look up*

Children of the Corn, with the lovely Kandyse McClure as well. There are piccies up at this site:

I think (shock/horror) he may even be the "hero".

The world has twisted on it's axis

Butting in to say the original was such a cheesy classic. I can't believe they're remaking it! And Kandyse was also in the Carrie remake. Hah. She must like Stephen King.

A cheesy classic.

But I don't care as I get more of the Sarkastic Pretty One on DVD and I can just ogle. Hell, we may even get a shirtless scene.

And I now admit that I am a sad Stephen King fan, and Dean R Koontz...

I luvs my cheesy horror!

Heh. Ys just told me about it. There are so many others they could do this to and it would help the bloated cast, but him??? Frakkin' morons.

Yeah, of everything they did wrong last season, of all the characters they could blame for last season's failure...I mean, I don't know that that's what's going on behind the scenes, but I'm sure last season's less than stellar ratings had something to do with this decision.

That's okay, I suppose. I needed one less show to watch.

Don't tell me it has something to do with Sark :(

Um, I can neither confirm nor deny that without being spoilery. But you know me well of old, and can draw your own conclusions with pretty reliable certainty.

Ack, I don't know what spoiler you're talking about, and now I'm really curious. Though of the same opinion on the show as you - I think if I watch next week it'll be in that horrified way that you watch a trainwreck.

... wow, I have no idea what the spoiler is (and I don't want to know), but... wow.

Now I'm kind of scared.

I've been enjoying this season a lot.

I was sort of willing to be pulled back in...until last night's episode utterly bored me (except for one very small section). They seemed to start off pretty strong this season, and I thought "Huh, maybe it's worth another shot."

but if last night is an indication of the direction they are going, I was not impressed. And then to find out this spoiler on top of that...nope. Just done. Should have stuck by my guns and not gotten involved at all this season.

To be fair, this isn't the sort of spoiler that would push a lot of people into not watching. But it's uniquely designed to do so for me. :) Especially since my list of complaints so far include:

~ STILL not happy with what they've done with Hiro last season and have continued into this season.

~ Was REALLY not happy with how they killed off Nikki last season. Tracy, not winning me over.

~ Peter has dropped down my popularity meter drastically.

~ I don't care how much they try to make Sylar sympathetic. I was done with him last season, and I'm still tired of him this season.

~ Suresh = The Fly. Really, show? Did we HAVE to go there? Plus, why in the heck is Maya still around? Good God get rid of her, already.

I'm sure there is more. But those are the ones off the top of my head. So, this latest spoiler really just pushed me over the edge.

This is the first I've heard about this, but if it's what it seems to be, it'll be the end of me and Heroes, too. That character is the only reason I'm still watching. Idiots!
