OMG! I just remembered!

I totally had this nightmare last night, in which Neil Gaiman proclaimed via his blog that he wouldn't be writing anymore.

As with most dreams, much of it has faded, but I remember very vividly my shock and confusion - how could he just quit?? I don't remember how he put it, but it was something to the effect that he'd written everything he'd ever intended to, and was just done now.

I remember lamenting to myself that The Graveyard Book was the last thing I'd ever be able to read by him, and being utterly devastated.

I've gotta say - this is some pretty heavy irony. What was Morpheus thinking, giving me a nightmare like that??

*is very relieved to see nothing of the kind on Neil's blog this morning*

I had a completely fucked up dream about visiting you and the husband, actually. (And I think I had dragged my Mom along.) You had apparently moved to CA, in this little duplex, and had evil supernatural bad guys next door. It got seriously ugly.
