Hmm, torn.
Jun. 14th, 2010 11:49 pm I'm sure I'm really late to the party with this one, but did you all hear that ABC is apparently considering an Alias reboot?
I'm trying to decide how I feel about that.
I've had some flirtations with fandoms since, but there is no denying that Alias was my one and only. One could even say, S5 was a sort of reboot, so I'm curious what they'd do...would it be more like the new CW show Nikita, starting off years after the story we know, featuring new characters? Or a true reboot, with a new Sydney Bristow, et al?
It's odd to think of a show less than a decade old getting a "reboot", but I suppose it's a testament to the characters, and really, everyone involved that the suggestion was even made.

Date: 2010-06-15 12:07 pm (UTC)Dunno, this is the second time this week I've heard "reboot" in reference to something less than 20 years old. I'm getting tired of this Hollywood mindset of reviving characters/plots/concepts and milking the fans. Can't we just have classics anymore?
